There are two ways you can reset your Sim. You may want or need to reset your Sims if they become stuck or unresponsive. Sometimes your Sims get stuck in The Sims 4, but you can reset them with the “resetSim” command in the cheat window. This also fixed the issue where Sims couldn’t travel away using the “Travel” interaction on the phone.The recent Sims 4 Patch included a brand new cheat that allows you to edit “hidden lots” such as Sylvan Glades and the Hospital from The Sims 4 Get to Work.
13th November 2020 - Fixed an issue where Sims renting lots in Granite Falls or Selvadorada would lose those lots upon traveling to another world. I don’t know exactly why it effected some people but not others, maybe it’s a cache thing. 11th December 2020 - Fixed a patch-related issue where the main menu would appear blank for some players. By 'special venues' do you mean the special lots in Windenburg like the Bluffs or the Von Haunt Estate, and Myshuno Meadows in San Myshuno? I don't mind a special lot for a venue that serves a particular purpose (for example the Von Haunt is the residence for Lady Mimsy and her hubby, both ghosts, and I think the Bluffs are necessary to generate parties. I can move sims onto that lot but the lot is still set to 'Generic' even with sims living on it. It eventually sorted itself out (not really sure what exactly fixed it) because I can now edit the type without any problems. The lot was empty and stuck as 'Retail' I believe, and wouldn't let me change because the venue was 'Special'. Sometimes your Sims get stuck in The Sims 4, but you can reset them with the “resetSim” command in the cheat window. The lot is not 100% the same as I have added my own twist when creating it for the sims 4, just as a warning I hope you enjoy the download. The lot was created using the same 'Blueprint of Madisons House Party Lot' form the very first release. When you load in, you’ll see a Check List. You’ll be able to find them again under Household Management, shown below. When you click Change Venue Type on a lot with Sims living on it, you must first evict them. Note: You cannot create a venue with Sims living on it.
